Streaming has turned music into a cheap utility, paying creators in fractions of pennies while tech platforms pocket the profits. This movement belongs to every independent artist who believes their labor has value. We are stepping away from the streaming lottery and reclaiming our income through physical vinyl. No algorithms, no middle-men, just pure art and fair pay. Streaming has conditioned the world to believe that a lifetime of an artist's emotional labor, late nights, and financial investment is worth a fraction of a penny.
Streaming made music accessible to the world, but accessibility has not guaranteed sustainable income for independent creators. Artists should not have to depend exclusively on algorithms, enormous streaming numbers, and fractions of a dollar to build a music career.
We reject the fraction.
We are turning awareness into action.
